How can I register to attend?
All attendees must be fully paid and registered to attend the NFC & Mobile Money Summit 2012. To register, please follow the steps below:
- Click here to visit the NFC & Mobile Money Summit Registration web site.
- Click Register Now
- Click Begin New Registration
- If you have been provided with a Registration Code, copy and paste this into the code field
- Fill in all mandatory fields marked*
- Review and accept the Terms and Conditions
- Click Continue and follow the registration process through to the review and payment page
- If you are a paying attendee we accept major credit cards or payment by bank / wire transfer to complete your registration*

If you have received an invitation to attend the event, your Registration Code will be in your invitation e- mail.
What currency can I pay in?
Payment will be accepted in US$ (US Dollars) only. Payment can be made by Credit Card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard) or by bank / wire Transfer.
Can I pay by bank / wire transfer?
Yes. In order to pay by bank / wire transfer you will need to complete a registration up to the ‘Review and Payment’ page. Once you reach the ‘Review and Payment’ page you should follow the steps below:
- Select the option ‘I will pay by wire transfer’
- Complete the wire transfer payment form in full. Remember to check all contact details are correct to the person who will receive the invoice for payment.
- Review and accept the Payment Terms.
- Click Continue at the bottom of the page.
- You will automatically be sent details on how to complete your wire transfer payment by email. Please read this email and follow the instructions carefully.
- When you have made your payment, scan and email a copy of your transaction confirmation to registration@nfcmobilemoneysummit.com. Please include “Wire Transfer / SWIFT confirmation NFC&MMS12 ” in the subject heading.
- IMPORTANT: Please allow enough time for your bank / wire transfer payment. Bank / wire transfers can take up to 10 working days to clear.
- Your registration is not confirmed until your payment has been received.
- If we do not receive payment before the event opens the attendee will be required to pay onsite by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express). No badges will be given out without full pre-payment of registration fees.
*Please note: Approximately 10 days prior to the event, the option to pay by bank/wire transfer will be removed in order to allow time for payments to be received
When will I receive my final registration confirmation?
You will receive an automatic email confirmation once you have completed your registration and payment in full. This is your final registration confirmation email and should be printed and brought with you onsite in order to collect your badge. Only fully pre-paid registrations will be sent a confirmation email.
Will you mail me my badge prior to arrival?
We do not send out badges prior to arrival. Each attendee must present Photo ID and pick up their own badge on site. Acceptable forms of Photo ID are a passport, national ID card or driving licence with photo. Names must be spelled in Latin alphabets.
How can I change my contact details after I have registered?
You can log back into your account at any time to view your registration and to update your personal details. Please visit the Registration page on this website and click on “Register Now”. You can access your details by logging in with your user name and password provided when you first registered. These login details will have also been sent to you in an e-mail.
* Please note you will not be able to change your name or primary email address through the registration system, as this constitutes a substitution. Please view the “How can I make a substitution” question below for detail on how to proceed.
I have forgotten my password. What should I do?
If you have forgotten your password follow the simple steps below:
- Click here.
- Click Forgot your password
- If you know your username, type in your username in the box provided and click on the “Send My Password” button to receive an email with your login details
- If you do not know your username, type in the e-mail address, first name, and last name used to register. Click the “Send My Password” button to receive an email with your login details
What is the cancellation policy?
“ALL SALES ARE FINAL”. Cancellations, as well as 'no shows', will be liable for the FULL registration fee. NO REFUND SHALL BE GIVEN. Paid attendees can send a substitution if they are no longer able to attend. See below for more details on substitutions.
How can I make a substitution (replace my registration with another person)?
Substitutions between attendees from the same company and at the same invoice address may be made by providing the GSMA with written notice of the name of the original attendee and full details of the substitute attendee. Once a badge has been issued and collected on site, substitutions are no longer allowed. To arrange a substitution, please e-mail full details of the original and new attendee to registration@nfcmobilemoneysummit.com. Please quote “Pass Substitution NFC&MMS12 ” in the subject line of the e-mail.
What is My MMS and how can I join?
My MMS is a social networking portal exclusively for NFC & Mobile Money attendees, and it’s a great way to begin networking before the event. To be a part of My MMS no action is required. You’re automatically a part of My MMS unless you “opt out” during registration.
What is Mobile World Live (MWL) and how can I join?
Mobile World Live is an online portal which connects the worldwide mobile community. Anyone can join Mobile World Live at any time, or you can do so when completing your NFC & Mobile Money Summit registration.

Can I collect a badge on behalf of my colleague?
No, collecting badges on behalf of a colleague is not permitted. Each person must collect their badge in person and while presenting original Photo ID (passport, national ID card or driving licence with photo). Under no circumstances will badges be given to anyone other than the named badge owner.
I am working on a stand, do I need to register?
Yes, every person must register. Contact the registration coordinator of the Exhibitor or Partner for whom you are working to be provided with a registration code and instructions on how to register. If you have been provided with a code to register, refer to the “How can I register to attend?” section above for more information.
I am a GSMA Member, how do I register?
GSMA Members are eligible to receive a 30% discount on Platinum Pass purchases. The Organisation ID is required before you begin your registration to receive the discount.
To obtain your Organisation ID please log into Infocentre and follow the instructions:
- Go to the Organisation Search page https://infocentre.gsm.org/cgi-bin/orgsearch.cgi
- Type in the name of the organisation you want to search and click ‘Submit’
- Click on the Organisation name in the list of results to open the Organisation details page
- The Oganisation ID can be found in the top left hand corner, above the Organisation Name
- In order to receive your discount, you must supply your Organisation ID prefixed with NFCMMS during registration (i.e. if your Org ID is 98765, enter NFCMMS98765 into the Discount Code box during Step 2/Registration Options, Pass Type Selection.)

How do I request a visa invitation letter?
Attendees requiring a visa invitation letter for proof of their registration to attend NFC & Mobile Money Summit need to submit the following passport information while completing their registration:
Full Name as shown on Passport
Date of birth
Place of birth
Gender (male / female)
Nationality
Passport Number
Place of Issue
Date of Issue
Date of Expiry
Once you complete your registration, you will receive a PDF version of your visa invitation letter via email within 5 working days.
NOTE:
- Any assistance with visa applications beyond supplying these documents will not and cannot be supported by GSMA Ltd. Information provided and visa issuance is beyond GSMA’s control.
- The GSMA will not issue any visa letters to attendees who are not paid in full.
- Attendees are solely responsible for verifying the full requirements for a visa application, allowing sufficient time to obtain the necessary documentation, and submitting documentation to the institution the application is being processed.
Do I require a visa to enter Italy?
Please click here for information on Italy visa requirements. If you do not require a visa, please do not select the visa invitation option during your registration, as the GSMA will not issue letters for nationalities that do not require a visa.
